Yet, I did some research about Battle of Liege.
Yet, I did some research about Battle of Liege.
- Battle of Liege was the opening engagement of the German invasion of Belgium and the first battle of World War I.
- Date: 4-16 August 1914.
- First battle of WWI.
- Germany was outnumbered by Belgium.
- Belgium was neutral and had a treaty with Britain. So, it brought Britain to the war.
- Germany entered Belgium to attack France from north.
- Germany used the Schlieffen Plan
- Schlieffen Plan was the German General Staff's early 20th-century overall strategic plan for victory in a possible future war with France to the West and Russia to the East.
- The plan took advantage of Russia's slowness.
- Try to defeat France quickly.
- Then rushing to the East to defeat Russia.
- Schlieffen Plan was created by Alfred von Schlieffen.
So. What can you actually do today?
